Hi!

The past few weeks we have been working with Sadie to wave Hi and Bye and she has finally started doing it!  Now, her hand is a little shaky still, but she has definitely grasped the concept.  It is pretty darn cute!

We are still continuing with her Physical Therapy.  While her torticollis is almost completely corrected, now the therapist wants to work on Sadie gaining arm strength in order to prepare her to crawl. The girl has some fantastic ab strength, but her arms are pretty weak.  Ever since Sadie was born, she has hated being on her tummy and now we are seeing the effects of that.  The therapist, however, is optimistic that Sadie will gain the strength quickly and start crawling away.  Unfortunately the only way to get that upper body strength is to force her to do tummy time.  So that makes for a cranky Lovins household. I am going to have to find some very interesting toys around the house to keep her occupied/entertained!

We are still working on Sadie saying her consonants, however, I swear this weekend she said "hi" to me.  I went to pick her up and said "hi" and she let go a deep breath and it sounded just like she said "hi" back. Brilliant, I tell you.  She is just brilliant :)

Here are a few pictures of the past couple of month (notice the slight head tilt in the first picture and how it has been corrected in the next 2).  Enjoy!
